Many of these works are layered washes, creating a fuzzy effect when photographed. Many works contain intense, fluorescent colors that are not accurately represented in print and on the screen.


As I continue my long-going exploration of “Landscapes and Objects of a Disquieting Event”, I look to push against the rigid structures I had previously utilized to bind organic phenomena. I continue to investigate those many spaces between real and synthetic and investigate wonder.


At first glance these works may seem disparate, but I continue to explore the edges of one’s boundaries and vocabulary. I am continuing to explore what I short hand refer to as “Monsters, Mountains, and Cosmos” and investigating that line between awe, wonder, and dread.
