Large "drawings" on raw canvas, 2010

April 2010 -This is a new series that I have just begun to explore. Starting from within the precepts of the "ebon flow" and "landscapes from a disquieting event", this series is growing out of the desire to collapse the space between the process and layering of my paintings and the immediacy of my drawings. I intend to explore formatting issues, but would like this series to grow organically, and perhaps move into an entirely diffent conceptual and formal realm.
